This film is based on the true story of three African-American women who helped shape American history, contributing to NASA’s first space launch in the early 1960s, a time when racial segregation and gender discrimination were the norm. Without watching it, I would never know what it was like to be forced to drink from a different fountain, or have to use a different restroom, or be denied a college education. "Hidden Figures" masterfully provokes a mix of discomfort, hope, laughter and thought. I vividly remember when I first watched it, in one scene, I wanted to laugh, yet in another, tears filled my eyes. Now, seeing how much society has evolved since the '60s gives me hope that we can achieve a greater good, even if we still have a long way to go. Further, the leading ladies of "Hidden Figures" are role models for females with their strengths lying in their mind and spirit. Thus, don’t miss this film!

Previously, leadership was thought to be a male preserve, but in this day and age, there are many successful female leaders in almost every field. Among them, I would like to talk about the Vietnamese businesswoman Mai Kieu Lien, who is presently the General Director of Vinamilk. I have always been a great admirer of her. Every time I see her on TV, I am impressed by her way of talking. She studied in the Soviet Union, and after returning to Vietnam, she has been working for Vinamilk for years now. Under her leadership over a period of more than 40 years, Vinamilk has turned into not only one of Vietnam's most lucrative brands but also a reputable name throughout Asia. She has been given many awards in recognition of her achievements and contributions to the society. She's very charismatic. When I think of her appearance, the thing which stands out most is her constantly smiling face, which gives other people a very good impression. She is known to be a committed, determined, patient and considerate person who always cares about others. She is truly a positive role model for many Vietnamese females.
